Cylance Pro Cycling Update |RPM2

The Cylance Pro Cycling team has continued to make great strides in the Women’s World Tour, both as a team and as individuals. From Rosella Ratto Cylance RPM2overcoming serious injuries and setbacks to earning top placements on some of the world’s most challenging races, the Cylance Pro Cycling team has certainly made an impression on the cycling community. Giro d’Italia Results

The Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile is a highly anticipated race among the UCI community. This ten-day race is held in the northern regions of Italy. From July 1st to July 10th, Doris Schweizer (SUI), Krista Doebel-Hickok (USA), Valentina Scandolara (ITA, Rossella Ratto (ITA) and Sheyla Gutierrez (ESP) competed for the Cylance Pro Team. The race consisted of over 23 hours of racing that spanned more than 530 miles. This race combines harsh and unforgiving climbs alternating between flat sections, which can test even the most dedicated of cyclists.

Doris Schweizer finished 14th in General Classification while Sheyla Gutierrez finished 17th among Best Young Riders. Gutierrez also earned top ten placement in three stages of Giro d’Italia, one of which was the last stage of the event. Schweizer placed 7th for the technical and hilly Giro Rosa time trial. Krista Doebel-Kickok finished 31st overall after a solid performance throughout the 10-day event.

Upcoming Events

The Cylance Pro Cycling team will be sending a squad to the UCI Cascade Classic and another squad to the UCI WWT La Course by Tour de France at the end of this month.
